Kerala has an amazing variety of wildlife spread across its vast expanse of tropical forests. The forests range from lowland rainforests to high latitude sholas (high altitude montane forests) to dry deciduous forests. Due to thick vegetation, animal sightings are difficult unlike the open savannahs of Africa. Hence he best possible options are jeep Safari and trekking into the deepest forests.
